The fishing on Grand is very good right now. The lake is murky, and the elevation is just above normal. They are slooowly lowering the lake to near normal. There is some floating debris, but overall fishing is doing very well.

Whites are being caught easily on wind blown banks. The more wind the better. We found them from 7-12 feet along rocky banks and walls. Trolling rattling baits 1/2 oz. Color didn't matter once you got the depth correct.

Largemouth seem to be doing very well. We caught several while trolling for sandies. These fish were coming from the flooded willows and the laydowns.

Catfishing is great too. They are moving up towards the bank and are biting almost anything.

The spoonbill have returned to the main channels and are very active jumping out of the water.
