Rusty Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 This just blows my mind. Imagine your neighbor dumping toxic waste in their yard, but their yard runs down hill into your yard. You talk several times, years, with your neighbor about your yard not having grass. But, you and your neighbor live in different housing associations, with different rules. You decide to sue your neighbor because of the toxic waste that is now producing one eyed children. After years of legal paper work and many more one eyed children running around the neighborhood, your neighbor says it's all your fault nothing is being accomplished because you are suing them. Maybe if ADEQ would have been doing their job to begin with, this lawsuit would not have happened. Just a thought. I do know one thing, the EPA is taking soil samples, under the water, from all water tributaries coming into Oklahoma. I talked with an EPA agent a month ago, and he said they are getting data for future lawsuits that will take place. Here is the link that started my rant: http://www.joplinglobe.com/local/local_story_141104208.html
Terry Beeson Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 Russ, Just to "ease your pain" a bit, all of this is just "lawyer-ese" to justify more and more legal fees. It's just a couple of kids on the playground exchanging "did not"s and "did so"s... How else are they going to get more of our tax dollars? TIGHT LINES, YA'LL "There he stands, draped in more equipment than a telephone lineman, trying to outwit an organism with a brain no bigger than a breadcrumb, and getting licked in the process." - Paul O’Neil
Wayne SW/MO Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 Tyson does for the American economy like a Flu epidermic does. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
