Closest to the dam that I can think of is Table Rock State Park. Lilley's landing may have some campsites, but I don't know. Google Lake Taneycomo in quotations and camping in quotations.

This is a great site. Check out these sites and phone #

Check this link out: http://www.taneycomoresort.com/ is the downtown branson camp sites but is far down from the best fishing in my opinion.

Cooper Creek- 417-334-5250 Coopers creek has cabins and camping sites and is located next to the MDC Boat ramp. It is an excellent area in the bait area and just minutes by boat from the trophy area. Both Coopers creek and Lilly’s next door have slips for rent at very reasonable rates.

BTW: the pic on my avatar was landed and released about 2 minutes from coopers creek area.

You're not gonna find such a place on Taneycomo. It runs through the middle of 4 towns.

Is there an echo in here... here... here...here....? (couldn't resist, KA... )

Kind of a shame there is not camping, but Ken is right... Your best bet is TRL above the dam...
