My ideal conditions are as follows

sunny, cloudy, snowing, raining, windy, calm, warm or cold.

I think that about covers it. :D

serious though, a slight overcast is usually better for trout fishing.

You are so stupid you threw a rock at the ground and missed.

im just curious. what are your ideal weather conditions for trout fishing.

Any weather condition that you can get away to go fishing in.

A better question would be, what are weather conditions you find unfavorable for trout fishing.

-----To which my answer would be watch out for Lightning storms, Tornados and Earthquakes.

Seriously any day that would be good for golfing would be better for fishing. The perfect day would be slightly overcast, with a light breeze and temp in the mid 70's

I would rather be fishin'.

I will have to second that one Tippet! I would have to say overcast, with some wind to put some chop on the water. Seems like when the weather bad is the time to head out. I remember once when I lived in Springfield the whole area was in a winter storm warning and thought about and it and figured why not give it a try. I had never caught so many trout before. It was snowing so heavy, but you talk about a beautiful day to be on the water. I would say those would be my ideal conditions.
