Fishing report

Went to Taney this afternoon and have a report. The fishing was extremely WET AND WINDY with pea sized hail thrown in just for fun.

The catching was so so. Caught 4 trout and two suckers. Caught them floating night crawlers.

GF if those were yellow or white suckers I would have kept em scored em and deep fryed em,absolutely nothing better.Taney is just full of them,but most are the ole blue suckers which aren't as good.Years ago we use to go out in the boat out of Empire park down by Forsyth and tie up to the middle buoy by the dam,drop night crawlers straight down and catch all the suckers we wanted.--------Yummy. They were what I have always been told are white suckers, and yes I kept them. These were the same kind of suckers I always catch in Taney, I either don't know the difference between white, yellow or blue sucker or I haven't caught any that look different than normal.
