Members Paul Nienhaus Posted June 9, 2007 Members Posted June 9, 2007 Caught smallies on the flats 15 to 30 feet, and they haven't all spawned. they'll bite grubs, deep diving crankbaits, or crawdad imitators(hula grub, jig&trailer combo). The keeper size spots are suspended in 38 feet halfway down, and will eat a slow moving grub. 1 good spot out of windblown bushes on a rattletrap. The largemouth were hiding in the dock shade - move in quietly or you won't get bit. The crawfish right now are green. Keep that in mind when choosing your crawfish pattern.
