fly2fish Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 I will be up June 22-24 before my knee replacement on June 26. This will be it until I begin my "aquatherapy" around the 1st of August. Will be fishing Friday night, Saturday and Saturday night. If we have a quorem (3 or more) we might plan a midnight snack or something.
Terry Beeson Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 F2F... Who is doing your surgery and where? You will NOT regret it if you do the exercises and rehab like they tell you. Still some stiffness in my knee from the scar tissue, but they say that will come with more time. Members David Bolin Posted June 13, 2007 Members Posted June 13, 2007 Terry, Maybe we could take F2F in by the golf course at BSD about the first week of July. That probably accelerated your therapy by at least a month. Oh...and for the record...you didn't tell me you were recovering from knee surgery until we started back up the hill! db
Terry Beeson Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 That was quite a hike for a stumblin' ol' phat man, knee surgery or not... I did need that type of therapy at that time and still need to do more. The steps and slope at the Taney outlets are good therapy and I keep telling my wife I need more... Next time, though, I'm hijackin' a golf cart!!! fly2fish Posted June 13, 2007 Author Posted June 13, 2007 Terry, I am having it done in Tulsa by Dr. Boone of Eastern Oklahoma Orthopedic Center. I live in Claremore and work in Tulsa so it is the closest for me. Hey I have been following your plight at work and may be able to offer a little help, I am an Aerospace Design/Liaison Engineer at SpiritAerosystem in Tulsa, formerly Boeing. We have hired a lot of engineers lately and probably still have more to hire both in design and quality. I do the interviews for the designers. The guy I posted kicking the snake at outlet 2 is one of our quality engineers that I fish with. I can e-mail you more info if you are interested.
Terry Beeson Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 Well, I don't have any aerospace experience, but sure... email me at tbeeson (at) hotmail (dot) com TIGHT LINES, YA'LL "There he stands, draped in more equipment than a telephone lineman, trying to outwit an organism with a brain no bigger than a breadcrumb, and getting licked in the process." - Paul O’Neil
