Chief,

Are you sure that the wagon was there already. Maybe the spider was there and he built the wagon to catch the rainwater.

Cardiac,

The place you name here in Powys, is in Wales, UK my home lands. l had heard of this happening before, if it be true or other wise l am not sure, if the individuals who witnessed this event were sober or other wise, who knows.

Such is Welsh folklore, ask Merlin !!

I still think it was the Force. Merlin was one of the Great Jedi Masters so he was probably in on it. Of course it may have been Terry goofing around on the dark side again. :blur:

I think he is thinking of a more ancient Merlin GF, not one of movie fame.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

I was thinking of Merlin from back in the mid-evil ages. Is that the right one? The force moves thorough everything, has always been here and always will be here. Merlin was surely tapped into the force wasn't he?

If you're talking about a water STRIDER, the spider looking water bugs that skate along the top of the water - they have wings and can fly

water strider from wikipedia

Actually I think the correct name is Water Skater. Its a 4 legged creature that skates along the surface.

I'm wrong. You are right. I just looked at the pic. I have never seen one flying that I knew of. Where did you read that they can fly?
