Some of my buddies and I are planning a trip to Cotter this weekend. We usually just wade at Roundhouse shoals, but one of the guys suggested using a float tube to fish. I've never thought of it and was just wondering if you guys think that would be a good idea or not and how that might work with the current generation levels?

That would depend on how much water they are running. I would think it would be ok with one or two generators but not on big water. A better bet would be one of the small personal pontoon boats. Or even better there are places where you can rent a river boat. Check with Gary Flipin at Rim Shoals Trout Dock it would be much safer on high water.
