Members JonT Posted June 25, 2007 Members Posted June 25, 2007 Hi all, I moved to Fayetteville, AR last summer and been scouting out trout spots. I have ultralight gear and fly gear (8 and 10 wt.). Had lots of luck on the upper White with low to mid generation. I was an inshore guide in Pensacola, FL for 2 years before moving here. Glad to find the forum, and I look forward to participating in it. Tight Lines JonT

jcoberley Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Hi Jon, No saltwater here however there is a lot of good fishing and I hope you enjoy it. Oh and welcome to the 4 states. Fish slow and easy! Borrowed this one from..........Well you know who! A proud memer of P.E.T.A (People Eating Tasty Animals)
RSBreth Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 Since you have the saltwater experience, you might look at Beaver Lake, spring and fall you get a shot at shallow stripers on the fly, my biggest is only about 12 lbs. but lots of fun on the 8 weight. Oh, and stream smallies on the fly are just so, well, you'll find out. Lots of good freshwater stuff going on here, you'll love it.
