Heading down Sat.(jun30)and Sun.(july1), anybody else going.

My wife and I are heading to montauk to fish Sat and Sun. We are going to stay at Reeds Cabin, cabin3. Anybody else going. I am fairly new to this forum and have not had the pleasure of fishing with any of you all. Looking forward to meeting some of you guys. Hope to see some of you there.

how high was the water? was it fishable?

The river was very fishable, normal level, I thought it might raise after the rains Sat. and Sun. but it didn't. Fishing was good on egg patterns, streaky on all other patterns. Caught fish in the park on #10 olive crackleback stripped upstream, white thread jig, olive wooly, copper johns, zebra midge, caddis dry. Outside the park, light orange glow ball and olive crackleback stripped upstream. Here is a pic of a little bow outside the park. I will also post a pic of the stream in Photographs forum. Check it out, cool desktop wallpaper. Staid at Reeds Cabin, wonderful accomodations. It rained both days but never hard enough during the day to keep the wife and I from fishing. Had the stream pretty much to ourselves both days.
