Members Bigpop Posted June 29, 2007 Members Posted June 29, 2007 Hello and thanks, I want to thank all of you for the great info you all give. I live on the Gulf Coast (TEXAS),and saltwater fish as much as I can. I will be in Branson next week 7/1/7 - 7/7/7, with my bride and kids. Can any of you help with any info to bank/dock fish. Wife and kids want to fish. It dosent have to be trophys, just something to catch and have fun!! Kids/Wife dont fish so the simpler the better. THANKS in Advance Big POP
Members itsdesignateddave Posted June 29, 2007 Members Posted June 29, 2007 I am new here as well, but here is what worked for me. I was down a couple weeks ago and had good luck off the dock and had several others that wanted to fish that didn't normally do so. What I found works best was to fish off the end of the dock with the current, and it really didn't matter how fancy the setup. Several were running an egg sinker with a hook about a foot or two down and just letting it sit on the bottom. Power eggs (white especially) corn, worms, and white jigs worked very well.
jcoberley Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Welcome to the forum. The dock at Rockaway Beach is nice. Fish slow and easy! Borrowed this one from..........Well you know who! A proud memer of P.E.T.A (People Eating Tasty Animals)

gonefishin Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Hello 'pop and welcome to the forum. You should find all the info you need here. With kids along I would stick with the power bait. I would rather be fishin'. "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." Benjamin Franklin, 1759
