Last night was no exception to the rule of water running at Taneycomo, the water was on at 11:59 and off at midnight. The other thing that made it nice was the in pending storms to the north that never showed up. Myself, my Father(Stubby)as you all know him and the lovely ozarkriverrat were present for the taking of many trout on the end of a lighting rod.

We started the evening off at the big hole and ended it at 4:00am up by the cable. The fishing was very hot at the start while the water level was falling, the it reached the stagnate state level which for me is about 1 foot high. At that point I have a honey hole and that is where we went. Between the 3 of us we had 63 fish down there.

Well it was 3am when we arrived at the cable and the fishing was hot all over again we were fishing both sides and getting hit just about every cast. Then WHAM I here some one yelling for me big fish, GET THE NET!!! When I arrived on location it was a very nice Brown in the net. We measured the fish and he came right in on the 22" mark. Took a photo and then decided to go home.

We were using MOHAIR Leeches size 10 and just about any color you wanted to cast at them, just strip it real slow. I believe that is a song. I think that I have a theme song for the pole down in the big hole. JUST STRIP IT REAL SLOW.

The fish avg was about 16 inches without the big brown. Out of all the places that we fished we had a total of 117 fish I hope that everyone has a good weekend we are heading north.

If you are visiting Boston MA, it is not appropriate to say "I have a hat on." Instead, you should say "I have a cap on."

Just a few words of wisdom from Uncle Don. :D
