Members Robert R.
Hey guys - Newly registered to the site but have been looking at it for some time. GREAT clearing house for trout fishing information. Love the site. Thanks for all the hard work. I have a friend and his family looking to spend a few days on the Little Red next for some much deserved R & R. They will probably fish a little bit and I can fill them in on fishing, but peace and quiet near the river area a must. I have not spent any time around the Little Red in many years and when I did I stayed with family near Prim. Can anyone suggest some places I can give them to check out for Lodging??? Sorry it's short notice, but I just found out a few minutes ago. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Members Robert R.
Hey thanks for all that info. Terry. I will defenitely pass it on to them. I looked at Lindsay's website last night and called him about it. The very first time I ever trout fished back in the late 70's (show's my age) my brother and I hired a guide out of Lindsays. My brother caught a 4 lb 8 ounce bow. Come a long way since then. Thanks again Terry.
Terry Beeson
OK... show you MY age... I was excited when I went by Lindsey's a few years ago and met Sonny Martin... former morning DJ for KAAY radio in Little Rock... That guy helped form my teen years!!! on AM radio!!!!!!!!!! Just read Clyde's blog... his most recent includes "Will someone please give George Bush a..." (I'll leave this part to your imagination)"...so we can impeach him?" Just as bold as ever... Members Robert R.
Hey guys - just a report on my friend and his stay on the Little Red. They ended up staying at Lindseys, in a "honeymoon" suite no less, right ont he river. It was my buddy, his wife and their 3 children. Every time I talked to him I had to ask him "I did'nt inperupt anything did I???" He does not fly fish, and because he had his children, he rented a boat from Lindseys and fished a deep hole near there and limited out in a couple hours the first morning. Fishing power baits. Said the kids had a blast. Then he calls me yesterday afternoon to reprt catching a 4lb 2oz bow out of the deep hole just above Swingin Bridge. Caught it on a 1/16th ounce black roostertail. That guys has all the luck!! He did'nt have a way to measure it other then using a dollar bill and he said it was just over 3 dollars worth A guy fishing close by had some scales and weighed it for him. He promptly returned the fish to the river after weighing it. So all in all he had a great trip. Put the kids on some fish and caught a whopper of a bow with a bunch of other people watching. Now if I could just get him started flyfishing Thanks again guys for the good info.

Terry Beeson
A buck is about 6 1/8" long meaning that fish was 18 1/2 or better... nice pheesh!! Members catfish
Yea, Terry I remember all those old KAAY radio programs, also Marvin Vines farm reports in the morning while getting ready for school. Yea sounds like an excellent fish at 3 bucks and change. I think I have a couple years on you.
