drew03cmc Posted July 16, 2007 Author Posted July 16, 2007 They're just bass and gills! On a 4 wt, tons of fun though! Andy
jcoberley Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 I have had my best luck with a small long shanked hook and a small pc of real worm. Fish slow and easy! Borrowed this one from..........Well you know who! A proud memer of P.E.T.A (People Eating Tasty Animals)
brownieman Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 I have had my best luck with a small long shanked hook and a small pc of real worm. I agree with that. If a fly rod is desired the only bait I have found (besides the almost non existant helgrimite) that are tough enouph to make a decent cast are leeches. They work excellent if you worm them on the hook, often you can catch multiple fish on one leech if you can stand to put the little blood suckers on, lol. My friends say I'm a douche bag ?? drew03cmc Posted July 17, 2007 Author Posted July 17, 2007 I have caught more gills on flies than on worms...also, bigger fish too. Especially on #8 streamers. They love them! Andy
