we come down alot and i only get to bank fish down on the river south of 83 where our place is havent caught but 2 bass down there doing so help if you can

I don't fish the river that much. Latly I've been catching Catfish in about 6-10 ft. of water . Try nightcrawlers. Tey (catfish ) have been on the banks spawning. The lake is 7' high right now so honestly what thats done to the fishing. I haven't been out since the week before the 4th. THe boat and jet ski traffic has been insane. Will try to go out this Sun. I'f you have a boat hit the points with crank baits or 10" plastic worms. Black or purple WERE working for me. You need DEEP diving crank baits to getdown to 15-20 ft. The thermocline is starting to form now, so thers not much use fishing deeper than 20-30 ft.
