Maybe Terry's Giant Squid et them :huh1:

Or maybe Terrys Giant Squid being a smart Squid kidnaps them and holds them until fall when he knows all the fishermen will be at the dam. Then he turns them loose to bait his trap??

I would rather be fishin'.

I would have to say everywhere, I have seen them up top right now. I think there are more browns in the upper part then the norm. My father hook into a 6 pounder today but lost it on the hook set. You just have to be out there to know where they are. I know right now there are a few in the 26 inch range down by the boat ramp.

Accept the drift.....<>>><

Zach,

I know where some of them are...Starting at just below Fall Creek, and I assume all the way down, they hide under the docks during the days. I've caught many 20+" browns from under these docks during the day. Funny as this may seem, I've actually started too early in the morning, and they simply are not there. But, the sun gets up and they return. Now, all of these observations I'm referring to were summer months. Things could change in other seasons.

I bet that many are also in against the deeper banks under the trees and misc. vegetation and logs. But, I know that the docks hold 'em.

Thought you all might enjoy seeing a couple of browns I caught probably 20 years ago or so.

The top fish is a female, 29" long and the bottom a male, 31" long.

Both are mounted on a piece of cedar drift I worked down and finished myself...was submerged in water and gray when I found it.

Uhmmm Brownieman I cant find a link in there... If there was supposed to be one in there please try and redo it, Id love to see some big browns like that... Ive tried to make my avatar a pic of me and my big 30+" bow that I got out of Dry Run Creek a few weeks ago...

Just to let you all know I dont live up there and havent got a clue as to where Fall Creek is, though my friend Rhonda and a group of her family went out on a Pontoon and fshed there as saw some big browns about 2 weeks ago. Sorry if I just gave something away :(

You can compare the pack of ciggs under the head of the bottom one to reference the size.

Finnally talked my son into going to Taney Sat mourning. It was his second time Trout fishing at Taney. He's a tried and true Bass nut like I was for 30 years.I gave him one of my special white jigs and told him how to work it.For the next 2 hrs he proceded to seine the bank in front of me catching mostly Browns and some bows.

I just couldn't get anything going, seemed like after they had seen his jig they wouldn't touch anything I threw.I thought,I'll switch to fly rod and just show him.Well I ended up with 1 Bow for the mourning,he had 16 all together. The one in this picture is his first Brown ever and he caught it on the 3rd cast. Its not huge but not to bad for your first!

Sometimes you just gotta let those kids beat you,so they don't get a complex, you know.
