Jeremy Hunt Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 I caught this brown in the deeper water down by KOA around 2:45 am. It took a holographic style wooly in a size 8. I was surprise that this fish didn’t fight harder. And I actually landed this fish with the line I already had out. He didn’t take anymore off the reel. Troutn Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 That's a great looking fish for sure! Would you say that is one of the fish you have targeted during the day? Nathan
Terry Beeson Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Nice pheesh, Jeremy... TIGHT LINES, YA'LL "There he stands, draped in more equipment than a telephone lineman, trying to outwit an organism with a brain no bigger than a breadcrumb, and getting licked in the process." - Paul O’Neil
vanven Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Nice brown Jeremy. I caught a 22 inch rainbow last year that did the same thing. I was night fishing and was really trying to keep my light turned off. I actually thought I had a stocker hooked and couldnt seem to get him into the net. I eventually turned my headlamp on and was shocked to see the size of him, then he bolted. First time ever I saw my backing. -Jerod

Micheal Kyle Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Great fish glad to see a guide with a camera that works.(LOL) Photo shop the red eyes next time you look very evil. Yes we have had the same thing happen I would think that it might have to with the do's, and the do's look fine. You know how the fish act in the fall. Not sure why they are acting that way now. To Know People Is To Know Thier Ways!
