Brian K. Shaffer Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 Sometimes you do catch a fish you want to get a picture with.. and nothing seems more graceful to me than to look at the fish while a friend takes the pitcure. I myself took a photo that is quite cover perfect one time... as he was looking at the fish and the lighting was perfect.... You can photo a fish anyway you like... but to me -- this is the most classical look. When you are by yourself.. I know it is a different story... you might want to lay the rod down and try to catch the tail at the end of the reel seat and get a measurement that way... But jeez.. I see a lot of pictures taken lately that look like tomfoolery. Just a question - what's your favorite way to photo a trout you just caught ? jjtroutbum Posted October 1, 2007 Posted October 1, 2007 I like the "have a buddy or someone else take the perfect scenic shot of me with fish." However in the real world a simple shot of the fish laying in my net works also. One of these days hopefully it will be a fish thats to big spilling half way out of my net.
