the past three monday nights i have been paddling the upper end( white river), and just before dark the water has come alive! with large bass .... and the large clear spook has done the trick!the best night was 18 fish over a pound and a half on average but on light tackle and a kayak it was fun!

how far up the white? close at all (canoe distance) from the twin bridges?

Sounds like a blast...don't get much better.

When their in that mode if ya get a chance try throwing a red and white mini Lucky 13...see if you do any good.

Have caught some big smallies on buzz baits too...when I was little my dad used to take us camping allot at Stone Mill and he and a buddy would fish Bryant Creek.

They set limb lines for cats back then and I remember them catching some nice ones...to a little kid any how, lol
