hfdhoosier Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 Fished the park on Monday and Tuesday. fishing was good, lots of fish in the stream. Caught fish on zebra midges( both red and black), red copper johns, cracklebacks(dry and stripped), deer hair caddis, egg patterns. The biggest was a 17 inch bow (picture attatched) that weighed 2.5 lbs. Weather was awesome, cool at night and in the mornings. The river was clear so use 2lb mono or lightweight fluorocarbon. I could tell the difference in number of bites between 2 and 3 lb mono. Alot more takes on the 2 lb mono. Hope this helps anyone heading down in the near future. HFDHOOSIER sorry about the double post but I lost internet connection in the middle of posting and it posted twice.
