Members Old Stumbler Posted July 27, 2007 Members Posted July 27, 2007 I now have proof the myth that Leonard does not own a net is only fishing buddy harrassment. He definitely does have a net and he will use it once in a great while when he wants his picture taken. Fishing was challenging last night but Leonard saved us from a total shut out. Water ran all night or until we gave it up about 4 am. It was a beautiful night with light fog and a moon that provide a view of the horizon, but at 706 the water level limited where you would like to fish. His PMS (secret fly), contributed to our saving grace. It didn't help me however. Bites where far and few for the few fishing addicts who arrived last night. Many of them spent as much time setting and waiting for the water to shut off which never happened. Here is Leonard's 19" brown with his net included. He may need a larger net if he keeps catching those nice browns. I hate those "toe stumblin" rocks!!!
Leonard Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Hey Dwayne.... for Feb.. it was a beautiful night..LOL... still tired buddy??? I thought it was July!! I had a get time last night... great chatting with you again.. Thanks for snapping the picture.. I need to get on of those cameras!! Leonard http://www.taneycomonights.com
Troutn Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 It was nice meeting you and chatting for a bit Old Stumbler. After you and Leonard went on down to outlet 1, we rigged up and fished 2 for a while. Like I was saying last night, I have never had any luck fishing outlet 2 at night. Last night I brought 7 to hand. The other guy (I can't remember his name at the moment) started it off by catching a few and when he broke off he ended up leaving. I moved in and was getting bitt pretty often, just couldn't get a hook in them. Anyways, it was a good time as I expected. Nathan

Members Old Stumbler Posted July 27, 2007 Author Members Posted July 27, 2007 I corrected the error Leonard. If thats my worst mistake today I am doing very well. I stumbled around half the night in the dark and made it fine. Then I take a fall going down the steps to the basement while putting up my equipment. Thank goodness no harm done but it could have been bad. Carrying too much stuff was my first mistake of the day. A little ice on the knee cap and I am ok. Hope you have better luck tonight. I hate those "toe stumblin" rocks!!!
