WebFreeman Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 In my backyard pool. Or they be mosquitoes. I'm trying to kill them before I find out, so if anyone wants to fish it before they die, better get here quick!! “Many go fishing all their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.” — Henry David Thoreau Visit my web site @ webfreeman.com for information on freelance web design.
The Caddis Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 Must be moving in a northeasterly pattern, yesterday I was watering my yard and hatch of little mosquitos came up, about a size 18 or 20, swarmin all over the place. Didn't see any rises, but then again the only pool I have is the 18" deep kiddie swimmer.
WebFreeman Posted August 8, 2007 Author Posted August 8, 2007 Mine is 30 inches I think. We kind of let it go for about 10 days. It's amazing what's swimming around in there now, and it's just on our deck. Everything but fish. We're not far from the Chesapeake hatchery. If they water wasn't 85 degrees, i'd go swipe a couple trout and keep them in the pool. “Many go fishing all their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.” — Henry David Thoreau Visit my web site @ webfreeman.com for information on freelance web design.
The Caddis Posted August 8, 2007 Posted August 8, 2007 My kids keep Nemo in ours, a battery operated model. I've thrown every fly in my box but I just can't get a rise out of him, every once in a while he swims by and passes on my offering.
