DeepDiver75 Posted August 19, 2007 Posted August 19, 2007 After diving with friends on the lake all day Saturday I had a few hours to fish on Sunday morning before heading back to KC. Got down there at about 6:00 a.m. met a buddy and we started out fishing between outlets #1 and #2. We didn't hang out in any one area too long, just kept moving looking for nicer fish. Caught a few fish apiece out of just about every spot we stopped until the fog started clearing and then the fishing picked up considerably. Early on a purple #20 Bit-Scud trailed with a purple-wine G-Bug was tops and as the fog cleared we switched over to more natural olives and browns in the same fly set-up. Big fish of the day was a beautiful 22" brown caught by my friend just down from re-bar. Definitely starting to see a few nicer browns staging around already. Had to be at work here in KC at 3:00 so I took off about 10:30 and pushed the speed limits home.
