jjtroutbum Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Sorry for your pain Dale. I personally have never broken a wrist but have sprained more ankles some so bad my toes all most disappear in the swelling. Hope that its your line hand and not the rod. However if it is you may need a lighter rod to help with physical therapy. Wink wink Think that I will try and get to the water quickly. "just to help ya out." WebFreeman Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 That stinks. I broke my wrist, thankfully might left. You could always duck tape your rod to your cast and double up on the vicoden. “Many go fishing all their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.” — Henry David Thoreau Visit my web site @ webfreeman.com for information on freelance web design.
trout fanatic Posted August 29, 2007 Author Posted August 29, 2007 At this stage I don't think vicoden will help much lol. I suspect that in about 2 weeks my left hand is going to learn how to cast that little 4 wt though.
Kansas Fly Fisher Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 Sorry to hear of the news! Best wishes for a speedy recovery. And just to show you how much I care - it's off to the waters for me; I'll post pictures when I can. John Born to Fish, Forced to Work KSMEDIC.COM
