Terry Beeson Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Are all you "Cleverites" and "Cassvillians" OK? They're talking rough weather with some damage in Clever at the bank. Hope you guys are all OK... back2roots Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 My son and his family live just about half way between Billings and Clever. Heard lost of wind and had hard rain. They are okay...but were out of power for a few hours. Bill If you liked the sound....Thank the engineer!
Don Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 All OK here. Apparently I slept through everything. Sounds like wind damage about 2 miles south of me. Got enough rain to have a flow on the low water bridge for a change at my place. Thanks, Don Don May I caught you a delicious bass.
Steve Smith Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 We took shelter about 9:20 this morning, but luckly just got a downpour and some wind. Other than the streets in Cassville being soaked and some trash, everyone appears to have survived. I figured I would check Roaring River at lunch time. I hope it's running strong again ___________________________ AKA Flysmith - Cassville MO
Danoinark Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Good deal boys.... Tim? Everything ok at your shop? Steve I bet RR might be just a little dingy uh? Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
timsfly Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Everything is fine at the shop, the river didn't rise much, but did turn muddy, we have received about 3 1/2" of rain here since yesterday, with more to follow. But things are fine at the moment. Tim Homesley 23387 st. hwy 112 Cassville, Mo 65625 Roaring River State park Tim's Fly Shop www.missouritrout.com/timsflyshop
Kansas Fly Fisher Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Glad to hear everyone made it through. Tim, do you think it will mess with the fishing this weekend? John Born to Fish, Forced to Work KSMEDIC.COM
timsfly Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 I don't think it will hurt a thing unless we get a bunch more rain today and tomorrow, the river is off colored but did not get real high, mostly runoff, so it should clear quickly, I don't know if it will be completly clear, but it should be in good shape by saturday. The gates, at the dam were still closed this morning, that means the spring didn't rise much. Terry Beeson Posted September 7, 2007 Author Posted September 7, 2007 ...Apparently I slept through everything... Me too, Don... I'm not sure what that means, but hey... I didn't get worried. But when I got up, turned on the TV, and heard Clever had been hit and Cassville was under a tornado warning, it woke me up...
