Greg Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 I've been hearing rumors that the didymo is getting to really be a problem in Arkansas on the White and Norfork. The Little Red? Is that true? I don't think it has shown up yet in MO - at least not that I am aware of. Members JimmyT Posted September 7, 2007 Members Posted September 7, 2007 Greg, It is thick at the dam and down through Hogslobber at gastons. At partee it begins to thin out but is in the river all the way down to buffalo shoals to some degree or another. Unfortunatly it for sure is being taken from the dam to Rim Shoals by fishers of all types. Have to change a few tactics to combat fishing in it such as smaller shot so it won't hang bottom but other than that it is still fishing well. Jimmy T. http://flyfisharkansas.com/blog
