Guest Jim Traylor Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 It's been cold in the early AM so generation has been a little heavier. Bull Shoals Lake has also come up a foot since the last rain and Generation has come up as well. 4 units for most of the morning yesterday then down to one. Midges are thick in the morning, so thick in fact that a mask wouldn't hurt. #16 & #14 blood and black zebra midges drifted under an inticator in clean water is doing the trick.. Unfortunatly the water is very dirty with decaying didymo. The stuff that looks like toilet paper suspended in the water. Staying in front of the rise or riding the rise would be optimal and allow one to avoid the mossy water. Unfortunatly for this guide we got off to a late start yesterday and missed our opportunity to ride a four unit rise. Good fishing Jimmy T.
