Don Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Since I'm going to Mt. Home for some fishing and Conclave inspiration, I have noticed that weekday generation on the White has a pattern where water is off in the morning. I've also noticed the past several weeks water has never been off on weekends but running low flow. Is that one or two or partial generation? Does anyone know what fly pattern changes and or other tips are in order with low generation patterns versus when the water is shut off? Gratefully.....Don Don May I caught you a delicious bass.
John Berry Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Don, The generation has been for low flows. I have been fishing them with the same basic flies as I have with no generation. The hot flies have been black zebra midges, San Juan worms, and partridge and orange soft hackles. Do not be afraid to toss a grass hopper.
