I just told my wife got my second kitchen pass of the year so I'm taking advantage of it. I'm going to head down to Bennett Oct 20 & 21.

Anybody else going? I normally fish in Zone 2. Below the entrance bridge.

I'm a big midge & nymph fisher, but recently tied some Green Butts to give a try.

I might be able to make it Saturday morning. I'll let you know before the end of the week.

Try swinging the soft hackles threw those riffles all the way down to the slower bend. Then also between the hatchery outlet and the bridge at the end of zone two. I have had alot of luck with them there and a couple of other places when I can find or wait for the space for a swing.

Good luck and tight lines

I've heard that yellow and green butt soft hackles have been catching fish. #18 BH copper johns and PTNs also are good producers. EHC, Mosquitoes and Cracklebacks(yellow and green bodies, #20 griffiths gnatts are good dry flies. The john deer mini-jigs are also producing well now.

Royal Wulfs are a great searching pattern if you have fish going after your strike incators.
