Members docfred68 Posted October 17, 2007 Members Posted October 17, 2007 I have been mostly a bass fisherman and have been trying crappie at loz lately. We are on the 6MM across from the mouth of the Gravois. I am trying to establish a pattern for the fall but not much luck, caught 25 last weekend, were hit and miss. I am in the process of getting the crappie book by the author mentioned in earlier posts. Will be there again in the near future. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
CMAC Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 Crappie this time of the year can be tough, hit and miss. I would concentrate on the brush, mainlake preferably will give some perspective. Then transition to the backs. There are good shad populations in the creeks of small threadfins.
