jay bird Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Does any one know of some good Wheel Chair access on Taney that has a good potential for catching some trout. I have a patient that I would really like to introduce to fishing and think it would be a great hobby for him. Lilley I was wondering about your dock, but I have never been down there so I have no idea what it looks like. Thanks Jason
Members whatnext Posted February 1, 2006 Members Posted February 1, 2006 last year my brother-in-law broke both ankles and was in a wheel chair and we managed to get him the the water at lilleys. try to use little dock just above the boat ramp it seem the easiest to get down just take it easy You can kind of see the ramp to the right of the picture. and we had to alter the boat a bit to allow access of wheel chair but we got the job done So i hope this helps you out i think lilleys is the spot to head Kirk sorry i couldn't find a better picture of the ramp. Thats the best i got

Wayne SW/MO Posted February 1, 2006 Posted February 1, 2006 Cooper Creek, Rockaway Beach, and Empire Park in Ozark Beach are all accessible. Empire is probably the nicest as far as a view goes, and it and Rockaway are probably the easiest to access because their entry is level. They were catching some from the fishing dock at Empire yesterday. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
jay bird Posted February 1, 2006 Author Posted February 1, 2006 Thanks for the information guys I really appreciate it. To the guy with the two broke ankles I hope everthing works out and the other surgeries do not put you out to much this year.
