Had a great day fishing today, but couldn't hook into any toothy critters. We caught everything but muskies.

Pomme Geezer did snag a pretty nice 4lb 10oz bass though.

COOL!! Way to go Geezer! From the picture, looks like you might be off a point just up from Decker's Branch Cove. Reports saying the lakes down about a foot & dropping slow. That can make it a little tight on the bass and "toothys" both. Haven't been able to get up there for about 2 mo. now. got to do it soon while I can still find my mower. If the water drops like it did 2 years ago (-5') I need to clear the access lane into my dock of about 5 stumps. Keep up the good work. DON'T FORGET, to mark an X on the bottom of your boat so you can find that same spot again.....LOL D.C. :goodjob:

Geeze, I know exactly where that spot is in the picture. My hat is off to you, very few people know about it. I caught a 21lb. musky there about 5 or 6 days ago while fishing for bass.

I just got back from my first foray to Pomme, fished Sun Morn thru today, Wed morning. Fished half a day with a bass buddy Sun and did not do too well, bunch of little fish, two were at the 14" range. Remainder of trip I chased muskies with a muskie chaser friend from way up north who knew what he was doing and we boated a dink miskie and 3 big ones 38, 39 and 40". Had 4 additional follows/nips and adrenaline rushes.

As this was my first muskie trip I had nothing to compare to but my seasoned buddy rated it "very good".

Also caught a 5# LM on muskie lure at sunset.

SKMO, got any pics? That's awesome. I cannot imagine catching something like that. 3 big ones in 3 days sounds pretty awesome to me. That's almost 10 feet of fish if my math is right.

I forgot my digital but have the fish pics on a disposable camera, will try to get someone to scan them when I get them developed.
