John Berry Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 For the last two days my wife, Lori, and I guided a corporate group for River Ridge Inn (a great place to stay on the Norfork). Lori guided both days on the Norfork and did quite well. I floated the White on Monday and waded the Norfork on Tuesday. On the White, we caught plenty of fish including several nice browns. The hot fly was the black zebra midge size eighteen. The hot spot was Jenkin's Creek at the upper end of the Rim Shoals area. On the Norfork, Lori and I were pleasantly surprised to find that the crowds from earlier in the month were gone. In fact, we and our clients were the only ones in the Catch and Release area for most of the day. Our clients caught some very nice trout including a nineteen inch brown. We did the best on falling water. The hot flies were olive zebra midges and Y2Ks.
