Report 11/18/07

Well fished up and down BTW today. Started at Parker and worked my way up to the Lure Only section, but didn't catch a thing. Very slow.

Next, went up to the dam and hooked one. That's it! I was about to give up and decided instead to go to the old Catch & Release section. Once there it was a slow start but by 1pm the fish just turned on and I caught a ton. It was a blast. Used my usual beadhead sowbug pattern. What started out as a very slow day turned into a hoot.

I fished sat and sunday just up river from the cabin in the lures only section (catch n release). Fished both days untill about noon. Had some pretty good luck considering my cast isnt too grand. Caught about 6 or 7 on sat. But then got into them yesterday i stoppped counting. Most were small rainbows i did catch a hand full of 13" to 16" maybe one or two over 16".

All were caught on a blue dun midge with silver wrap. Like i have said this is my favorite time to be fishing on the water.
