Stand back Geezer and give me a little room. I got a couple new reels I picked up that I want to give a try. If you've ever seen me with a baitcaster that I'm not used to......you know why to stand way back. LOL LOL

I picked up a couple reels on EBAY, a Pinnacle "TARA", of which I have several, and a Pfluger "Citerion". The Pinnacles I love and are probably my favorites. The Pfluger reels have appealed to me for some time and I've always wanted to try them, just never would part with the coins. This ones like new in/out, all lubed up with "hot sauce" & ready to go. I've got a whole $8.65 in it (including shipping). I couldn't believe I got it so cheap. When it arrived & I disassembled it to check & lube, it was like new with very little signs of use. The TARA was about twice that amt. which is still very cheap.

I'll be up the few days after Thanksgiving. Geezer, if your out & about, I'll be mostly in Deckers Branch (cedar cove area) or on the pomme side just around the corner (upstream) from Deckers. Just look for that old maroon/wht. Maxum converted bow-rider. Leave a few in there for me! D.C.

Hey D.C.

Glad to hear your heading my way. I haven't been out in 3 weeks. Other stuff going on. I don't even know what to tell you. Last time out a White Spinner bait was working well. The lake is turning over, and the water is pretty stained. Anyway, Glad to hear about your ebay treasures. I don't know if I'll be out this weekend or not, have to see what the weathers doin. Anyway Good Luck and Good Turkeyday.

Well Hoover, I made it down to Pomme. Between a very sick little dog and the cold weather, all I could do was look out at the lake. I got the place winterized in case we don't get our usual warm-weather Dec. this year. Oh well, that many more in there for next spring. Yep, I sure am! Definitely a fair-weather-fisherman...LOL
