Daddy Carp Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 Sounds like you had a good & enjoyable time just getting out & fishing together. "The destination migh be poor, but the journey is priceless!" Bad day fishing beats a good day at the office. What part of the lake were you on? What part are you planning on fishing this summer? I'm new to the lake but I am told there are some Killer walleye in there and the white bass will almost jump in your boat when they're running. Best of luck to you & your's. Hope to see you on the lake. D.C.
Members rlcarter Posted November 21, 2007 Author Members Posted November 21, 2007 i was fishing at Big creek, my dad likes to put in there because he doesnt have to pay to use the ramp, he says his tax dollars built that lake and he shouldnt have to pay to use it..that's just my dad (84 yrs old)..we usually fish big creek in the spring and summer, but i think that i am going to try elbow creek this winter, the only problem is that i have never laid eyes on that part of the lake. if anyone has any good info about elbow creek that could be useful, i will take all i can get..i have learned alot about crappie fishing from a buddy of mine in the past 3 yrs, but that is up at stockton (dirty water) not bull (clear), a whole different ball game..it was good to talk to you DC, good luck on your future trips..
