For My Mom

My step dad passed away on December 5th after a short illness. The onset was sudden and unexpected but in the last days the doctor's helped prepare my mom for what was coming. She has done remarkably well and is holding up very nicely. However, we have had to come back home and my stepbrother is leaving in a week so mom will be all alone in the house. I suspect that is when reality will set in. I'm asking that you keep my mom in your prayers and ask the Lord to help her through this very difficulty time.
