Thom Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 Fished this am from 9 until 1030. Tied on zebra midge with a small salmon egg. First 6 casts landed 5 fish. 4 browns and one rainbow. The browns were small except the last one which was 16”. All were fat and well colored. There were two other anglers at chute 2 fishing small scuds catching several fish mostly small. I was downstream drifting from the end of the chute along the current break line. Lots of hits on the midge copper bead head 18 zebra midge and a few on the egg. I later tied a small 18 tung gold beaded dark grey hares ear dubbed like a scud and picked up a few larger fish on it. Another great morning. I also caught a few on a black with silver wrap zebra as a dropper on the other midge. I fished from 12” to 2 foot depending on where the fish were in the column. Not steady pattern but lots of fish everywhere. There were 4 guys fishing chute 1 and that was about it. Thom Harvengt
