Trav Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Decided to motor down to powersite this morning. Was fishing a suspending stickbait and was catching some sport bass, 4 in total. Switched to a super-diver when I hooked into a really nice brownie. Wieghed 4.11lbs on the digital. That sort of had me wanting more so turned my focus totally into the browns. Didnt catch anymore but did find some interesting rock formations at about 30 feet deep that I didnt know was there. Or at least I think they where rocks, haha, that or about 3 volkwagons. I asked a few ducks to dive down and tell me for sure but they just gave me a funny look. haha "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
WebFreeman Posted December 13, 2007 Posted December 13, 2007 Thanks Trav. I used to fish down there a lot and apparently I missed out on the fish. “Many go fishing all their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after.” — Henry David Thoreau Visit my web site @ webfreeman.com for information on freelance web design.
Trav Posted December 13, 2007 Author Posted December 13, 2007 No prob, The thing I noticed around powersite is that if the Bass dont bit near the shore you really have to go deep. The deep diver I was using had a 4 inch lip. Runs about 16 to 20 feet deep. "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
