Fish Bork Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Thinking about heading down tonight if the wife lets me. Are the rapalas still working like last winter? I would assume so but just checking thanks Chris Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.

taxidermist Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Try a 1/32 white Maribou road runner. Last winter we were busting the trout on Taney with those. .
Fish Bork Posted January 7, 2008 Author Posted January 7, 2008 Thanks for the replies havn't been down to Taney since last Feb. and I didn't get permission to leave tonight.... but one day!!!!!!!!!!! Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.
Trav Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Marabous and road runners both will catch you more numbers. You increase your sizes somewhat with Raps. For the bigger ones use diver-cranks. All my really big ones(20" and up) are usually caught on 3 to 5 inch jigging spoons and lil goerges fitted with big colorado blades. "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
