Check in... Let us hear if you're OK...

The tornadoes missed us, but the power went out around midnight for most of the night. Got ready to hook up the generators I used after the ice storm in December - lost power for 6 days and will be cleaning up for 6 months. Don't see any more damage. We still have a lot of hanging branches waiting to fall. Hope everyone else is OK.

All we lost was sleep. The neighbors giant cedar tree snapped at the base around 315am.

Here in South Springfield, have been cleaning up the yard of items that are not mine. Shake shingles and tree limbs from a neighbors Bradford Pear and roof. Like everybody else -- a lack of sleep and very lucky no futher damage to our place.

We're fine in Reeds Spring. Pretty much all the storms went around us. Just lost sleep and nerves tested with the tornado siren, which located about a block behind the house, blaring all the time.
