Terry Beeson Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 We made it OK here in south Nixa. Was skeery for a bit about 3am, but everything went around us. A-OK here... But praying that everyone else is doing OK and came through... Check in... Let us hear if you're OK... Aeronikl Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 The tornadoes missed us, but the power went out around midnight for most of the night. Got ready to hook up the generators I used after the ice storm in December - lost power for 6 days and will be cleaning up for 6 months. Don't see any more damage. We still have a lot of hanging branches waiting to fall. Hope everyone else is OK.
tippet7 Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 All we lost was sleep. The neighbors giant cedar tree snapped at the base around 315am. Here is a photo from Thousand Hills Condos You are so stupid you threw a rock at the ground and missed.

DOITLOOKIT Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Here in South Springfield, have been cleaning up the yard of items that are not mine. Shake shingles and tree limbs from a neighbors Bradford Pear and roof. Like everybody else -- a lack of sleep and very lucky no futher damage to our place.
TroutBum4wt Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 We're fine in Reeds Spring. Pretty much all the storms went around us. Just lost sleep and nerves tested with the tornado siren, which located about a block behind the house, blaring all the time. "Where There Are Trout, There's Hope" - John Gierach
