flyfshn Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 Mr. Ducky, have no fear, there are many praying for your family! My wife had a c section with all 3 of our children (now teenagers) without any issues! The recovery period is a little longer (thankful I am not a woman) and she will need assistance getting around, but she will be fine. Don't worry, take the time to enjoy the moment....before you know it, Landon will be a teenager! If they let you, tell them you want to watch, I did with all three (if your stomach can handle it). Sounds gross, but it was a beautiful experience, that I will never forget. The doctor asked me when our first was born and I asked with the other two. Fish On! The Caddis Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 A c-section isn't bad, our first was an emergency c after 20 hours of labor. The next 2 were scheduled c's. Wife and kids did fine all 3 times. Only advice I'll give on this, enjoy the time your little one comes then hand off to the nurse. No matter how brave your wife is, she will need your help and you will need your rest.
