timsfly Posted January 14, 2008 Author Posted January 14, 2008 He does get eaisly confused, but he is fun to watch, especially when it is real cold out The biggest fish are now in the upper area of the river, most are from the F hwy upstream, there are still a few nice fish in the lower part of the stream, but not many since the river has come up. The river is nice and brown right now, should clear up in a couple of weeks, I've seen it clear up in a week, and I've seen it take a month to clear after heavy rains, so we'll just have to wait and see. Fishing was good today, cold this morning and real nice this afternoon. I caught most of mine on egg patterns today, some on buggers and a few on pheasant tail(flash backs) #16's. Steve uses cheddar most of the time, mixed with scotch of some sort for a binder I guess. Danoinark Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Tim...think its his age?.... I might try to make it up next Monday, all depends on how I do at Taney Saturday and what it might look like on Monday. Dano I've never seen clear scotch. Rusty, I have seen some cheap scotch that is pretty clear, oh, and the homemade stuff around here is very clear, except for little things floating in it. Steve Smith Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 I don't know why I have to put up with all this abuse, and scotch? Wouldn't be caught dead drinking scotch! Rather have a good shot of Knob Creek whiskey. Well Knob Creek on payday, and probably a blend when it's not. Been known to sip a little Irish Jamison from time to time too. Dano; I'll send you a PM. ___________________________ AKA Flysmith - Cassville MO
