ozarksfishin Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 I have a question about the GPS coordinates on the mdc website. Phil, maybe you can answer this, or anyone else. The coordinates are not accurate. For example the stump off the point at old 86. If you go by the coordinates given, you will end up on the west side of the lake somewhere. I have looked at other coordinates and they are the same way. Maybe I am overlooking something or just not reading them right? Thanks for the help! Fishrman Posted January 21, 2008 Posted January 21, 2008 I ran into the same problem in the King's last year. I took my GPS and started looking for a brush pile that was planted near Viola, but whenever I tried to match the coordinates I ended up way out of the vicinity. Don't know why. Tried one more set below and had same problem.
