JobyKSU Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Not that I'm trying to ruffle any feathers here... But how about them Wildcats? Maybe KU will be ready for them next time... [Alright, you got me, I am trying to ruffle a few feathers] ::. JobyKSU Tippet Breaker Extraordinaire
am4mu Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Congrats Joby. That was quite a performance. It sure is tough to be a tiger right now but any time the hawks go down it is time to party. Doug Doug Kiefer Independence, Mo h: am4mu@comcast.net w: dougk@schulzetool.com
JobyKSU Posted January 31, 2008 Author Posted January 31, 2008 Doug - Don't congratulate me... I just (mostly) sat on the couch and nursed a Boulevard. It may be tough to be a Tiger right now, but in a world where coaches and administration look the other way while some athletes run amok, you should be very, very proud to be a Tiger. It may not feel great come March, but MU became one of the most respected programs over night. ::. JobyKSU Tippet Breaker Extraordinaire
Paola Cat Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Big win for the boys ... they got it done! Good to see the "streak" snapped. Let's see if we can maintain the momentum. PC Cheers. PC
soggyfeet Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 its getting a little easier being a MU fan. LOved seeing the cats beating the hawks(love seeing anyone beating the hawks) but liveing in the middle of hawkcountry and seeing the tigers beating the team that beat the hawks minus 3 starters is great. JobyKSU Posted February 3, 2008 Author Posted February 3, 2008 It really is unfortunate that their hasn't been much of a rivalry developed between KSU and MU. When you're good, we're not, when we were good, well... you get the picture. All in all, it doesn't matter if Mizzou was playing KSU or anyone else - showing up for that game and playing like they did regardless of the recent "problems" is impressive. Adding in the suspensions just makes it phenomenal. ::. JobyKSU Tippet Breaker Extraordinaire
am4mu Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Great game Saturday. KSU has one heck of a team and maybe the suspensions hit home at Mizzou. Just wish I would have gotten to see the last two minutes of the game. My cable picked the worst time of the day to go out.
