Crappie

I never did get into any crappie but over the weekend my nieghbor made a point to call me and say that he and his nephew caught over 20 of them on sunday. Ranging from 8 to 14 inches.

Personally, I think the old boy isnt leveling with me about his tactics, but for what it is worth, He said he jigged minnows with a splitshot and still refers to his brushpiles in "lost Forest" cove.

I tend to give him alot of credit due to his lineage. His family has lived in the area since way before the civil war. Still, them old school hillbillys can be tight-lipped when they are not blowing smoke in your face. Haha
