Non-fishing Report

I was wrong with the fact that the lake might be muddy. In fact, it was more stirred up by the wind than from yesterdays rain.. Anyway

I classified this as a non-fishing report because I never really got to fish today.

What I got to do was spend the afternoon with a chainsaw freeing a big tree from my dock cables. But what I did observe in the process might be of fishing value.

I noticed alot of Bass and bluegills stacked in behind the mess. Tells me two things. They are hiding from the wind, and, that since my dock is on the channel side, the spawn has got to be on its way. Wont be long before you start to hear about bedded bass. Those puppys are hunting upriver for a place to compete.
