Table Rock Report

Ok, this won't take long. I put in at Big M about 11 am. Motored across the lake, caught one short fish on first cast out of a cedar. Ran from there up to Rock Creek, nothing, from there ran up above Devil's Dive and still nothing. Had great color up there, must have been coming from Leatherwood. Water temps ranged from 40-41.3. Caught the one fish on rogue, threw a jig and wart, but never got a taker on them.

Will go again next Monday and let you know.

Glad I'm not the only one who had a rough go at it on the rock Saturday. Hey, it can only get better, I HOPE.

Hey Gone Fishing, you being an expert with a rogue I wouldn't have thought you'd had a rough go out this past weekend. I've seen you catch em on that thing when most others struggled and with the water temps in the lower 40s up your way I would have bet you had that bite figured out. I remember last year at this time you was really dialed in with that little magic stick. We need to get together here in the next couple of weeks and give it a go.

Talked to a guy that fished Eagle Rock area and said he had a couple on the stick bait. Need to get out and try that in the next couple of weeks. Also live in Cassville so there should be no excuse as we start having a little more daylight. Looking forward to new daylight savings time this year should be able to hit it after work a little easier.

I bass fish some, but kids and work slow me down. I will fish the early spring bite and spring bite, but as soon as the Stripers start hitting top down at Beaver my bass fishing is usally just at night.
