a little over two weeks till opener i am ready i have only missed one opener since i was two years old it is a family tradition we stay in the same cabin every year i love the crowds and meeting new people i have been fishing taney a little but i am ready to trade the waders in for the bib overalls

LOL....glad that someone enjoys opening day! Blah!! I'd probably murder someone...can't stand the crowds at R.R. But its always good to carry on a family tradition...I can identify with that. My family is going on 4 generations that have fished @ R.R....had to convert them all fly fishing though

opening day is not near as bad as kids fishing day in the spring and fall but we never miss that either we always love helping the kids show them how to fish and what to use seeing a kid catch their firsst trout brings joy to me i was blessed that i had a dad and other family that has taken me fishing and started me out when i was young

i am a firm believer in give a man a fish feed him for a day so a man how to fish feed him for a life time
